Beef and Chicken Satay

Ingredients (8 persons):
500g chicken breast500g beef loin1 teaspoon tamarind pasteGinger4 cloves of garlic1 teaspoon curry1 teaspoon of turmeric1 teaspoon of fish sauce3 tablespoons oil2/3 cup peanut butter1 cup of coconut milk1 tablespoon lemon juice1 teaspoon of chili saucesalt & pepper
How to prepare:
Prepare the marinade by mixing: 1 teaspoon of tamarind paste, 1 teaspoon of grated ginger, 2 cloves of finely chopped garlic, 1 teaspoon of curry, 1 teaspoon of curcuma, 1 teaspoon of fish sauce, 3 tablespoons of oil, 1 tablespoon of peanut butter.
Marinate the meat cut into bite size pieces (minimum 1 hour).
Prepare the peanut sauce that comes with the skewers: mix 2/3 cup peanut butter, 1 cup coconut milk, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon grated ginger, 2 cloves garlic finely chopped, 1 teaspoon of chili sauce, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sauce is thick (about 15 minutes).
Grill the skewers over wood fire and serve with the peanut sauce.
